What this site and its phone line collect, why, who sees it, and how to have it removed.

Who runs this site
Hayward Appliance Care runs this website and the phone number on it. The disclaimer explains how calls are handled and who does the repair work.
What we collect
- When you call: your phone number, the time and length of the call, and the call itself, which may be recorded so the details of your repair are passed on correctly. You'll hear a notice at the start if the call is recorded.
- When you send the contact form: what you type, usually your name, phone number, ZIP code, the appliance and the problem.
- When you browse: basic technical data your browser sends (pages viewed, device type, approximate location from your IP address), and analytics data only if you accept analytics cookies.
How we use it
To set up the repair visit you asked about, to call you back, to keep records of calls, to fix problems with the site and to see which pages help people. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it to build advertising profiles.
Who sees it
The appliance repair company that handles your visit receives what it needs to do the job: your name, phone number, address or ZIP and the problem. Call-tracking, hosting and analytics providers process data for us under their own terms. We may share information if the law requires it.
Cookies and similar storage
The site uses a small amount of browser storage to remember your cookie choice. That storage is needed for the site to work and is always on.
Analytics cookies are off until you choose Accept analytics in the cookie banner. If you accept, an analytics service (such as Google Analytics) sets cookies to count visits and taps on the phone number. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer, or by clearing this site's storage in your browser.
Your California privacy rights
If you live in California you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, and ask us not to sell or share it (we don't). We won't treat you differently for making a request. To make one, call the number on this page and ask for a privacy request, or use the contact form and say so in the message. We'll confirm who you are before acting on it.
How long we keep it
Call records and form messages are kept as long as needed for the repair and our records, then deleted. Analytics data is kept in aggregate.
Children
This site is meant for adults arranging home repairs. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version goes on this page with a new effective date.
